Can you tell a spider by how it bites you?

I cant find the spider we saw >.<!?

• i just got up to get a drink & as i was walking down the hallway i saw this thing wiggling on the wall. O.O I turned the light on & then i saw this big spider D: so my sister was coming out of the bathroom & she came over to see why i was making noise (from running into the kitchen) haa. I showed her the spider & she hit it with the broom. It fell to the ground & it ran away. >< What if it creeps into my bed tonight & bites me. O.O!!!!! & What if it had babies! :O I'm all paranoid. I feel like spiders are crawling all on me. Cant sleep D: Argh; What kind of spider could it have been?? It was brown or black. I really couldn't tell. Had long thin legs. And it was pretty big but i mean.. not like tarantula huge.. but idk. lol I live in south Georgia. In the middle of nowhere. If that makes a difference.

  It was probably a wolf spider. Just google and check out the images. They're brown/black with thick sturdy legs and are fast. They don't web up high like a regular house spider, they make funnel webs in the ground but sometimes they make their way into houses.
