What is the biology major like in college?

What jobs should I apply for while in college (biology major)?

• I am a biology major seeking to become a zoologist. Are there any jobs I should try while I'm in college that will give me a better understanding of zoology (hands on experience) as well as look great on grad school applications?

Obviously, you would prefer experience with mammals if you have interest in cats, but most any job researching, studying, or managing wild animals will give you the experience your future employer and grad school is looking for.
