Deterring Spiders?

How many baby spiders born by a spider? (house spiders?) do all of the babies survive? help with spiders!!?

• Ok so i've seen spiders in my house and get scared that they might mate and have babies making it hard to control them. and so far...i have seen baby spiders as well..probably meaning a pair mated or even more...so what is the chance of me killing off all of them(if i can find them)? cause i heard THOUSANDS get borned....T_T do all of the baby spiders born stay alive for more than a week? like i heard that some babie dont even live..but i dont kno if that is true since it is a house the spiders are in so it is more likely to survive maybe? and how long do they survive without food?

  Even if all the eggs in an egg sac hatch, few make it to adulthood. They are either eaten by siblings, other predators, or aren't able to find enough food. I would guess you'd only get one or two adults from one egg sac-it would depend somewhat on the species. The fact that you aren't already flooded with spiders suggests that you'll just need to take care of the occasional spider you see. Spiders are generally territorial and will eat or chase off competitors, reducing the number you have to worry about even more. I'm not sure how long they can survive without food, but it is probably less for newly hatched spiders than for adult spiders. You can either capture the spiders and move them outside, or there are some effective pesticides you can spray across doorways and other places where they might enter. I'd discourage using pesticides in the home if possible, especially if you have kids or pets.
