How to fish with artificial worms?

How do the birds/fish/worms shape help it fly/swim/move?

  • Explain how a birds shape helps it fly through the air. Explain how a fish's shape helps it swim through the water. Explain how an earthworms shape helps it move through the earth. Please help!!

  • Answer:

The shape of all these animals is designed to exhibit the lowest resistance in their particular habitat. Birds are aerodynamic with their pointed bills, their narrow edges of wings and the variable shape of tail. A fish with its fusiform hydrodynamic shape and very narrow fins keeps the water resistance as low as possible while swimming. The thin, completely round earthworm with its pointed tips is able to squeeze in the smallest fissures and enlarge them by swelling its body using its strong muscles.
