I am a very shy person what can i do to stop it?

Be yourself and stop being so hard on yourself, i dont wanna hear about you on the news as someone who committed suicide or something. life isn't that serious, go smoke a joint or something and relax.

i dont no dude i am basicly in the same boat u are in dude.becuase i am shy to and i always end up just making friend with most girls but dont get me rong i have ben with 10 women and that is the truth dude.but there is this one girl i like and she just broke up with her b/f so what i am going to try ask her if she would wanna hook up with me.oh and by the way i have known this girl for like 2 years and she always gives me a look like she wants to **** me.

i salute u for your honesty. since u know what exactly your problem is (being shy) that is already a step towards solving your problem... be confident and always think positive... don't be afraid to try and fail coz this will only make u stronger... YOU CAN DO IT, BRO!!! :-)

their is nothing wrong about being shy.I use to be shy,but at the same time you r going to grow out of it....trust ME; HEY I'M IN COLLAGE so I know...the way you got your last girlfriend do the same with the other girls....do it for all the shy people out there.

U can do that...with practice. Start conversations with people however shy u r feeling. Be the first one to say Hi, and smile, and comment on something. I know it might be difficult..but if you make it a point to keep getting experience and exposure this way with people, you will get comfortable at it eventually. Just don't think you are any LESS than anybody! Start with a good self-concept of you, and that will make a great deal of difference. Also, dont worry about pick up lines. Keep it simple. All you have to do is introduce yourself to the girl with your name, smile at her sincerely, and comment about something and get the ball in her court. When she replies, listen very carefully, and reply back with another comment. It might feel awkward, but until you take that first step, you will never know what comes later. Slowly, you will surely develop confidence. Be easy on yourself. No one has to be perfect. We are all learning everyday... And I must tell you that some girls (like me) really like shy guys. And it's nice to have him come talk to us despite the shyness. Just balance that shyness with confidence also. One more thing is don't be too, too easy for the girls. Read this book. "Your erroneous zones" I do not remember the name of the author, but you can get it at any Book store. It is excelent....you will learn what is wrong in you and how to turn it around. Believe me...get that book. Search it in the net and see.
