What do teenage girls like and look for in a guy?

  • What do girls really look for in a guy? Well, my personality exactly matches with Bob Dylan....I am thin and not good at sports and stuff like that....But think I am nice, kind, generous and smart...I am known at my school as a very good singer, pianist, actor, performer and an artist..I am not a nerd or a geek....and I am kinda formal and not really up to date with today's lingo..and I am really shy and don't really like to talk to people that much....So what do girls look for in a guy? Does he have to be athletic? Social stuff? What kind of personality they look for??

    Most girls like a good sense of humor, but other than that, every girl has a different preference. I personally like the whole nice/kind/generous/smart thing you talked about, but I also like guys that are good at sports. I'm more into casual than formal, and I don't like it when guys talk too formally. (I type kind of formally but I don't talk like this) I don't mind if guys are a little shy, but if I can't get him to open up, I usually don't really like him. And yeah, they have to be physically attractive to me. I like confidence and some ambition. You actually have the same talents as me, so that's pretty cool in my book. =] Overall, I can like a guy [must be funny and attractive!] if either 1) he's confident, friendly, fun, and interesting, 2) he's sweet, easy to talk to, smart, and fun, or 3) a combination. (:

Dude I'll tell ya what, forget what girls like and look for in a guy. Think of what YOU want in a girl and go after it. Be the hunter. Don't mold YOURSELF into what OTHER people want. Happy hunting.

depends on the girl. we are not all the same. i like a guy to be funny (able to make me laugh), one that cares enough to bother with what i choose to do, and someone i can take home to my family if i get serious about the relationship. i also like a guy who can hold a conversation well

The worst thing that you can do is to ACT like you are someone else. Be yourself-period. Thats the best advise I can give. One other thing, girls love confident guys. If you are the type of person, be outgoing and self confident.

Good news and bad news. The bad news is you are the exact opposite of what girls look for in high school. Whether the will admit it or not, they want the "bad boy" in high school. The good news, you are exactly what they will be looking for after they mature a little and want to get married. (You actually sound a lot like me in high school) Trust me though, hang in there keep being who you are, and it will all work out in the end! Good luck.

I really don't care if guys are into sports. I just want them to be funny, and smart. But even if I have to show them how to do something every once in a while, that'll be fine. I care about looks, but not as much as I care about how they act towards me. As long as they're nice, selfless, and caring, then I like them. :D
