Do you always mean something when you hold someone very tight?

• Last friday a guy that i met 3 weeks ago spent the night at my place (we didnt have sex or anything), and i don't know we get along pretty well but since the beginning he sends very mixed signals..at times he seems really into me though, and now that, he held me so tight as we were going to sleep and he wouldn't let go..does this mean anything? Or could it also be just a need of affection or sthg?

  It is really hard to tell what he means by that. If you just recently met him and it is just a friendship, it is best to keep that way until he actually makes a move to make it more. Guys always send mixed signals. I don't think they mean to. If we like them and they are nice to us--we just asssume they like us more than a friend. But until the guy actually declares himself or makes a move that shows it is more than a friendship, then that is what it is. Guys will say that they like it if the girl is aggressive and approaches then first but they usually run afterwards. Then the girls is left wondering what happened with questions like, "What did I do wrong? I thought he liked me?" So, unless a guy picks up the phone and asks you out to dinner or the movies, you are just friends.
