Does true love exist?

Is it true that true love doesn't exist?

  • I got into this conversation with my friend whilst telling her of a guy I seem to have fallen for who is much older than me...and has a wife and kids. My friend told me that 'true love' doesn't exist. She said that as you grow old with your partner it just wears off, but you are often inclined to stay with your partner for the children's sake, etc. Is this actually true? I always believed in true love but now I'm not so sure. What your views?

    its like santa and the easter bunny, if you believe in it then it exists. its jaded after years of failed relationships, a divorce rate of 50%, and people to use that for their personal gain. dont give up on your dream of true love because it can and does exist if you choose to find it and not ignore it.

It Exsist, but you have to never stop working on it. There is many happy couples, because they never settled.

True Love does exist. Your Friends probably just had to many bad break-ups and thinks that there is no one that is "meant for her". Love is out there, and someday you'll find it.(: Good Luck!
