What's a decent age to have a boyfriend?

What age would be good age to have a boyfriend?

  • I'm 14, and I am in love with my best friend. I wanna keep him as my friend(for now), he holds my hand sometimes and teases me and stares at me and loves to annoy the heck out of me. At first i thought he was more like a big brother but now I know for sure that he likes me and I love him. I dunno if he loves me or not. My mom and dad think I'm too young to have a boyfriend and i might agree with them. But I do NOT agree with them when they say "You are too young to be in love" -What should i do? And what would be a good age to have a boyfriend you think?

    well at 14 i wouldnt have a super serious relationship but having a boyfriend at 14 is fine. if thats what makes you guys happy then that is all that matters. hope everything works out!

14-16. depends on what you are looking for. are you interested in kissing or are you curious about sex? some parents tend to think that younger dating means younger sex. talk to your parents about why they want you to wait. can you talk openly with your mom? tell her about how you feel about this boy. hope this helped!
