How can you tell if a guy likes you?

How can I tell if my guy friend likes me? 10pts!!!?

• I am friends with this guy, he's kind, sweet and funny. Last year he said that he likes me. Now we get to this year, and When i had this boyfriend, he would not drop the subject of him. There are few nights when we hang out with a bunch of friends and he only hangs out with me. I take him home usually, and before he gets out, he gives me the longest hugs. BUT when we are in school, he doesn't speak to me much. He also doesn't text me. He is an awkward quiet kid. I can't tell if he likes me. How can I tell, and how can i get him to confess to me without me asking him???

  Pretty obvious he has feelings for you. Unless he's gay. He admitted to liking you. And generally even if he did stop liking you this year, there's still this feeling that's left behind. And when he only hangs out with you in a group, he wants to spend more time with you! That's pretty confident for a quiet guy. So I think you should go for it :-) But the best way is to ask him. Sounds like you have him hooked already, so ask him.
