Is it expensive to convert an automatic transmission to manual in a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle?

Answer:
Tranny Yes it will cost quite a bit because you have to buy a whole new Tranny, all the associated linkage, also you will need a clutch and new flywheel for the engine, and hopefully the car has a hole already cut in the firewall for the clutch pedal link. If I were you I would expect to pay somewhere from 3,500-5,000 in parts and that don't even count getting it installed.
