    go to the cia world fact books. when you think of africa do not always think sub sahara. there is also the top magrib arabian countries like algeria, morococco, tunisia, libya, mauritania, then you have egypt. these countries are not as bad off as the subsaharra countries. starvation is not a big problem there. good luck
