Where is the best place to go safari in Africa?

I would like to travel to Africa one day? Good place to go?

  • One day I would like to visit Africa, and experience a little local culture as well as go on a safari. Can anyone recommend a good place to go, and give me tips on what to expect before traveling there (like any shots that may be recommended and so on). Thanks!

    LOOL...you can't believe it, but it is my dream to go to Africa and work there as a wild-life researcher. well, you have to expect to get exhausted by the intense heat and lots of flies and other insects..and you better not have a fear of these creatures, and more importantly big cats... but man, you can't just describe the pure spectacle of African Savannah in words. a Safari would be an experience you would never forget, but if you go there, try not to stick to rules too strongly..go have a walk in the bush for yourself ( in the safe area of course ) and explore the magic and beauty of the nature on your own..you will be privileged to be there. then, at night, just sit on a hot rock and listen to a male lion, roaring in the distance.. hope i meet you there some day..lool..Joke

It is the a wonderful place to be. Africa is a huge continent, meaning plenty of places to go and things to do. You will find it like any other place in the world, but in Africa it is more organic, natural and all created by mother nature itself. You will see all natural national parks, not the man made zoos and so on. At the same time, you have a war zones just next door, robberies, freelance militias, and all the negative things you can think of. But be a smart traveler, and travel with experienced travelers and very well informed locals, tours and so on. You will love it.

I have never been there but my Science teacher went there. She said it was a blast and she would go back again so I'm guessing its not that bad lol
