Places to watch sport in Damascus?

I am in Damascus this spring for a few months, and ideally I'd like to watch the 6 nations and Premiership football. Do any pubs/bars etc show sport there or is that a bit too much to hope for?

While there are very few pubs and bars in Damascus, nearly every restaurant and coffeehouse will be showing football (and not a whole lot else). Depending on where you live, you may have satellite TV which will allow you to view several sports channels (though chances are they will be only in Arabic).

Football is the most popular sport there. I don't think it is too much to hope for. Al most all international sports channels are available in major hotels.
