Do I need a visa to go to Syria?

How can i get a tourist visa to syria?

  • I am a Filipino holding a residence visa of Dubai and im planning to visit my friend in Syria this holiday. Is it possible that my friend in syria will be the one to get visa for me and he will just send it to me here in Dubai? Or do I need to go to syrian embassy to get visa?

    You need to apply for a visa as a tourist at the Syrian Consulate in Dubai , application forms are available at the counter and need to be submitted in person during morning session then be collected in afternoon session.

I am not so sure how to help you with this but my family is from Syria and we go there every summer. I think you should probably get your visa yourself because it could get lost in the mail etc. But my cousin who lives in Kuwait came to America for a short time. She applied either for a green card or a visa, and a year later when she came for another visit we gave her the green card or visa. You won't have to wait a year for your visa I think but my cousin wasn't staying for a long time. I hope you have fun in Syria! Hope I helped!
