How to get married in syria as foreigners ? any ideas?

Salaam, are Iraqi women refugees in Syria allowed to get married to foreigners?

• foreign muslim men from the west. I was in Damascus some months ago and there I met one nice iraqi family. do iraqi refugees in Syria generally let their daughters to get married to a foreign man?

  If you're a muslim, then there's no problem at all! ( Islam doesn't forbid Arab muslim women to marry foreign muslim man, Islam actually emphasizes that God made different "kinds" of people.. so that they would "mingle" anyways..if you know what I mean).. So you just need to ask the girl's father for his daughter's hand.. ..there are a lot of open minded muslim families out there.. and anyways.. it's all up to the woman's decision. She's the one who's supposed to decide.. not the father! But it's a tradition for the guy to talk to the father, convince him that you're a good muslim, and will be able to take care of his daughter and that she's in good hands. BTW my Emirati muslim friend is engaged to a muslim guy who's half european (and half Asian). lol..does that help? a little hope.. Anyways, best of luck XD
