What are nice places to visit in Salalah, Oman?

I am traveling from Amman to Damascus to Cairo. What travel options are there? Help!!!?

  • Any suggestions of good sites to visit? I am starting in Amman and need to end up in Musqat, Oman in 2 weeks. I was thinking Syria-Egypt-Oman, but any suggestions of alternative itineraries? I am a student and am fairly proficient in Arabic. Any suggestions of (safe) places to stay besides western hotels. General travel advice? Links would be appreciated. Thanks!

    I advise you go to a travel agency, I work in one, but there they can show you magazines, programs of places and give you the best for save money and the more important "time", so...you will can have an idea about what do you want and how to arrive, how many time you need and money, or they can sale you just hotels, but they can help you.

the best thing is to go to a travel agency so they can help you with everything and show you everything....and all the places you are going to is safe...in amman you can go to a hotel called : "shareton" or "four seasons" or "intercontenental" amman is all safe...i live in amman....if you wanna go to eygpt from amman you can go from the sea "AQABA" instead of a plane but that doesnt mean you cant use the plane as its better....good luck

I wish you fun... I have been to all these countries & I loved it...
