What To Do In Doha?

What's interesting to do/see in Doha?

  • I'm going to Doha-Qatar, for the second time. I'm going from July 8th until the 28th, to visit my dad. The first time I was in Qatar I didn't really see anything because I was much younger. I'm a 21 year old guy. I just want to know what interesting things I can do/see in Doha, ways to meet people, and just have fun during my stay. My dad will be at work all day so I'll have a lot of time on my own. Thanks!

Souq Waqif is a nice place to go at night. It's a traditional type shopping place, but they have a nice patio with restaurants. It's a nice experience to go there, and you'll see a lot of expats there. Villagio is the newest mall I think. They have an IMAX theatre there. City Centre Mall is huge, like 4 floors and they have a movie theatre and ice skating rink. Maybe you can attend a soccer/football game. There are places to rent jet skis if you drive around the corniche.

souq waqef is definitely my fave place ever... there's also Katara... museum of islamic arts... villaggio mall... the pearl of qatar.... but mostly all you can do is shop and go to places... do you have friends here? cuz doha is not a very good scene for socialisation sadly
