How hard is to climb Mount Whitney?

I would like to climb mount kilimanjaro in 3 years and i have some questions?

• how much will the glaciers have melted by then and will it have any affect on the climb? how much will the prices go up from what they are now? what can i do to save up for the climb? how can i train for the climb? p.s. i am 15 currently

  Have you checked out websites like the one below , they have contact details and can answer your questions easily. http://www.adventureconsultants.com/adventure/Kilimanjaro/ Couple of points , Kilimanjaro translates as "Shining mountain" cos that is just how it looks when the sun shines on it with the snow on top , I have seen it but not climbed it. To call it Mount Kilimanjaro (as many people do) is incorrect as it is like saying "Mount shining mountain" kinda silly really. The climb is more of a long steep walk and the high altitude with low oxygen levels is probably the only thing that might stop a fit person from reaching the top. So get yourself fit by cycling running and hiking up whatever hill is near to you in all kinds of weather. Do odd jobs like lawn mowing and whatever else is possible on your town to make money but you will still need to borrow from your parents to pay for the trip.
