Are there any internal political problems in Armenia?

Travel to Armenia..risky?

  • Hello, i have a question for you. I'm willing to travel to Armenia this summer, but the problem is that i'm 20 (recently turned 20) and i was born in Armenia but i left the country where i was 8 and live in Canada since...do you think there will be any problems at the airport with the army? I'm afraid they will draft me. Thank you, Nick

  • Answer:

Parev. As an Armenian origin born in Switzerland,i urged to see my native land.So i went to Yerevan and few other places. I coudn't think of anything than to enjoy all the beauties of the landscape, antique Gregorian churches,so beautiful and people were so nice to me. When it was under the comunist regime, perhaps it could be risky, but now things are changed. You just have to be careful, but this is also valid everywhere.Dangers are everywhere today, nothing is so sure, nobody can guarantee anything of our lives. Just go to Armenia and admire whatever is to be admired. it will be a great experience. If you are subjected to Canadian nationality, you're a tourist then.Nobody can hold and draft you anywhere. bye.
