Which website has the best information about Kenya?

Would you volunteer in Kenya with my organization?

  • Me and some friends have started and organization that links volunteers with orphanages and schools in rural Kenya. Please check out our website and let me know if the information there is satisfactory for someone who would want to volunteer with us. The web address is www.volunteersforchildren.kbo.co.ke Thank you.

  • Answer:

I may have, had I been in the market for something like that. What I read sounds above board and OK. What put me off was the part where I have to help with laundry, dishes etc. But, I suppose that belongs to the whole experience, so better mention it than arrive there and have a bad surprise. What bothers me is that you have no reviews, but that will come with time. You definitely offer an experience to work with children, and that is what many (american) people want to do. If you were not running your project efficiently, then the negative ratings would be there very quickly. So, I wish you good luck with your venture and hope all runs smoothly.

That sounds amazing! But, unfortunately, i'm still a teenager, and my parents wont allow me to leave the country until I'm a legal adult.

Sticky, when are you going to sit-down with me so I can teach you how to really make the money LEGALLY to REALLY help Africa? Waiting, HangtimeUSA PS: Do you know places like Kenya, Ghana, etc. are so corrupted by politicians that companies like Money Gram and Western Union ONLY allow funds to be sent in BUT does not allow local Africans to send out funds. So what does that mean? Africans can not do global business online within Africa or the rest of the world. I know an affiliate marketing program in the US that pays weekly and gives one intense marketing training. BUT they only pay their affiliates through PayPal. So then you look at Pay Pal's locations worldwide and you find that out of about 53 African countries ONLY about 6 have REAL PayPal access. Why don't the rest? As even some of the African countries allow PayPal to do them as Western Union and Money Gram have done...receive but no send. Part of the reason is racism and also corrupt officials inside the countries. So how important is helping the African people become globally educated inside of Africa if you don't tackle the problems around them that keep them crippled on the global stage once they are educated in Africa?
