What is your stance on Israel?

Green Party's Stance on political support for Israel?

• On the Green Party's official website it states, "We also reject U.S. political support for Israel and demand that the U.S. government end its veto of Security Council resolutions pertaining to Israel. We urge our government to join with the U.N. to secure Israel’s complete withdrawal to the 1967 boundaries and its compliance with international law." However, Roseanne Barr is Jewish and has even considered running for Prime Minister of Israel. And Jill Stein also running for the Green Party nomination seems to be Jewish as well based on her last name. So, how is it that both these ladies do not support Israel? It doesn't make sense to me. Also, side note. But do you think the Green Party will ever succeed in the future? What are the big differences between the Greens and the Democrats? Would it be a mistake to vote for them? Besides there stance on Israel and weed, I like what they stand for. But I'm a Democrat.

  If they are anything like the Greens here in Australia (which I assume they are) then they at a bunch of hypocrites with no policy other then to be against the mainstream. They take biased one side views of situations such as Israel, yet refuse to condemn Palestinian terrorism. A Greens politician was interviewed about the Arab Israeli conflict and all she succeeded in doing is proving she has no idea of the History or the current situation in Israel. The Greens even had a policy to ban Kosher food. The Greens are posers, but are no different to any other politician. They are just after power. There environmental policies are a cover for their true agenda. Underneath the green, you will find a lot of communist red. I have always voted towards the left of politics, (the Labor Party which is the equivalent of The Democrats) but would never contemplate even the thought of considering voting for the Greens here in Australia.
