Tea Party Members: What took you so long to get mad?

  • You didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President. You didn't get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate Energy policy and push us to invade Iraq . You didn't get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed. You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed. You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us. You didn't get mad when we spent over 800 billion (and counting) on said illegal war. You didn't get mad when Bush borrowed more money from foreign sources than the previous 42 Presidents combined. You didn't get mad when over 10 billion dollars in cash just disappeared in Iraq . You didn't get mad when you found out we were torturing people. You didn't get mad when Bush embraced trade and outsourcing policies that shipped 6 million American jobs out of the country. You didn't get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans. You didn't get mad when we didn't catch Bin Laden. You didn't get mad when Bush rang up 10 trillion dollars in combined budget and current account deficits. You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed. You didn't get mad when we let a major US city, New Orleans drown. You didn't get mad when we gave people who had more money than they could spend, the filthy rich, over a trillion dollars in taxbreaks. You didn't get mad with the worst 8 years of job creations in several decades. You didn't get mad when over 200,000 US Citizens lost their lives because they had no health insurance. You didn't get mad when lack of oversight and regulations from the Bush Administration caused US Citizens to lose 12 trillion dollars in investments, retirement, and home values. No.....You finally got mad... ...when a black man was elected President and decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, job losses by the millions, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, and the worst economic disaster since 1929 are all okay with you, but helping fellow Americans who are sick...Oh, Hell No!!

    Don't you understand the Patriot Act? The Govt doesn't care about your private conversations overseas unless you are a suspected terrorist. This is a way of finding out about terrorists activities. We should have ousted Saddam - that was a good thing. We want an assertive Govt not one that bring it's citizens to their knees begging for a handout and bowing down. We didn't need the Tea Party until NOW.~

incredible indiction of the tea party's hypocrisy !!! lol. hell, they wasnt even mad back in the day when blacks were slaves either!! they have a history of selective anger. and is it a secret that the overall makeup of the entire tea party movement are middle-aged, well-to-do, middle-class white ppl? why in the world would any non-white want to be in a party where only whites get to have their way, lol. lets not forget that this tparty thing started because we elected a black face to the white house. as long as there was a white person up there, they were content with just the republican party and the various kkk factions like fox news and limbaugh, and laura ingraham...but since the first lady is a black woman, they had create the anti-black woman, sarah palin. this is not going unnoticed. this is racial issue that affects us all as all racial issues have in our short history. you can bet that the foreign leaders around the globe, not including the european and jewish nations, are happy to not have to deal with bush anymore. thats for damn sure...Obama 2012, yes we are!!

It didn't take that long to get mad-it just took that long to solidify. Sadly, The things you talk about us getting mad about are nothing but entitlements. Who cares that a Black man was elected? I care more that a schill got elected. Most of what you wrote after "you finally got mad... is just a rant with no basis in reality.

I'm not a tea partyer, but from what I understand all they are angry about is how much the government is spending on things that a government shouldn't be spending money on. So as far as that goes, the only thing on your list they would have gotten angry about would be Bush's spending. But they didn't exist at the time. They only came into being when Obama spent a heck of a lot more than that.

the fact that a BLACK DEMOCRAT got elected has scared them out of the woodwork... i hear ya... not one conservative i knew voting in the 04 election made any of these points...and yet...every one of those same people are now all up in arms... fake outrage is the best IMO.... it's so easy to spot...and slap...
