Why does the West continue to support the Middle East by purchasing their Oil?
-
So here is the Problem the Middle East hates the West and does not want our influence. So why do we continue to support these Middle Eastern Tyrants. If you want peace in the middle east, The West needs to stop buying Middle Eastern Oil. By using Middle Eastern oil we are allowing a few ruling class tyrants to oppress their subjects. Without the West's oil money I believe these Tyrants would not have the resources available to oppress their people or wage war against the west or other nations. This would then force these nations to evolve out of their current 'state'. Their current 'state' I believe to be a location rich in illiteracy and human rights violations, spawning hatred and terrorism. Maybe I am wrong about this I guess I don't know the Literacy rate in Middle Eastern countries but I assumed it must be low if so many are willing to become terrorists. The Middle East does not want our influence, I say we give them what they want. What is the saying, "Absence makes the Heart grow Fonder". Lets make them want to have the West involved in their lives, if they realize they need our influence and money to survive maybe they will stop being so unreasonable and difficult to get along with. If they can make it on their own great; If they cannot, then perhaps they will appreciate what we have been trying to do for them. Some reason why 'I think' the West continues to purchase Middle Eastern Oil: *U.S. is allies with Saudi Arabia *Without West oil money the region would destabilize *Politicians have been bought by Opec and other oil organizations to prevent the funding of research for other energy sources. Some reasons why 'I think" that the West should stop purchasing Middle Eastern Oil: *The West is Funding terrorism against the West. *The West is allowing Human rights violations to continue by supporting Oil Tyrant Nations.

Answer:
The oil in the middle east goes primarily to Europe and Asia, many people believe America is over there to get their Oil, which is not entirely true. America gets the majority of their oil from Canada and Mexico. Why get oil from the other side of the world? Oil is not as rare as it is made to be believed. The prices at the gas pump are rising not because of the oil industry but because our federal reserve debasing the US dollar by printing money and controlling the money supply for their own special interests. The value of the dollar is going down rather than the price of oil going up. Look into the term "petrowarfare," as that is what makes the most sense to me as to why we are over there. Because our federal reserve has been debasing our currency for decades, our currency is in reality worthless. However, the only thing that gives it credibility is that the US dollar is the petrodollar, meaning it is used for oil. If oil suppliers decided to not us the US dollar, our currency would be worthless and our economy would collapse. Iraq left the US dollar before the Persian Gulf, and coincidentally we told Iraq that we would not intervene if they invaded Kuwait, because we needed a reason to force them back on the dollar. They invaded and it was a perfect excuse to go to war, because we are helping our ally and going against a dictator, both good things but we all no the good you do does not outweigh the sinning you do to collect it. So after the Persian Gulf Iraq was back using the US dollar for oil trade. Then Saddam decided to not use the US dollar again, then magically, nuclear weapons and terrorists who want to take our freedom appeared in Iraq. Now the leveled Iraq is back using the US dollar, and is a great place for some cheap labor as US companies like GE are already setting up factories there as those darn Chinese are starting to fight for their rights. America depends on the US dollar being the petrodollar so much we will do whatever it takes to keep it that way. There are many other instances in other nations that we intervened with because of this same issue, look them up, just search petrowar and you will find tons of info from credible people such as ex oil industry moguls who saw it first hand and had a conscience so they speak openly about it.
