How does tuition assistance work?

California wants to give Illegal Aliens free college tuition?

  • I can't get college tuition assistance because my wife and I take responsibility for ourselves and actually work (what a concept) and make more than the maximum requirement, but California wants to let border jumping Illegals who "promise" to gain citizenship after done with schooling to get huge tuition breaks and even in some cases free schooling? What in the hells going on here?

    Whoever proposed that idea is an idiot and in no way should be involved in any decision making process that would favor an illegal over a citizen of this country. These law makers cause the problems that we face today and will accelerate our demise. Vote them out now!

welcome to the united socialist states of america...i really wish california was forced to secede from the union...along with oregon, washington state, new york, massachusetts, minnesota, pennsylvania, and new mexico. maybe then, after they crumble like the walls of jericho under the weight of communism/socialism, they'll finally get what this country once stood for.

This is a prime example of what happens when liberals take over a state. California is heading to hell in a handbasket. And who do you think pays for that? I could think of a few more important places to put that money, or give that free tuition to.

Now, apply it to this situation, and then find out about the Swedish social system and tell me why you think it is that the US is so damn unpopular. That's ridiculous. That's California..... then they b**ch about the cost... It's more like, "hey! let's encourage them!!!". Also, have you noticed states worried if they're getting properly educated because of the language barrier?
