how can you wage a war on a non-existant concept? you do realize that the term "Islamo-fascism" is an oxymoron, right? fascism is inherently secular (read non-religious) because devotion to God would lessen your devotion to the state. Islam is about submitting to God (if you think that is bad or good, thats not the point here) and that there is no God before God. Jacob? i didn't say that. I'm not a democrat, but seriously - what? First of all, there is no such thing as "Islamofascism." Islam, the basic religion, does not support terrorism nor violence nor bombing the US nor anything else like that. Muslims, the people, as a whole, do not either. There is an alarmingly high number of Muslims who do commit terrorist acts, unfortunately, but get this - most of them are uneducated, illiterate, completely un-knowledgeable about their own religion anyhow. So, if you're referring to "The War on Terror," and I assume you are - half of that stuff you listed is just a poor excuse from the Republicans on monitoring ordinary Americans. Ask me how the Patriot Act has affected ME - a white American - and you'd be surprised. Do you want my rights compromised too? Yours? Or are you just an ordinary boring run-of-the-mill bigot? As for President Bush - his head is so far up the Saudis butts it's not even a joke anymore. Bush is waging war on Arabs because they have precious oil, and that is it. The Patriot act was an 800 page document that went from a purposeful scheme to grab Presidential power based on an illegal justification for war--to a law that was passed after only one day of consideration--one day to decipher an 800 page document. Then, a White House cronie that was forced upon Senator Spector, a staffer he was coerced to hire through threats of non-support from the Party, adds the provision to the already voted upon bill that took away the Senates right to confirm attorney's. As a Staff Senator, he is given the authority to legally take that action. And low and behold, Attorney's that aren't prosecuting Democrats fast enough or backing off Republicans quick enough are outsted in favor of Cronies that are nothing more than partisan hacks. Chuck Hagel (R) supports Impeachment. Is the Government actually trying to prosecute terrorists or patriotic Iraqi's that really had no choice but to join militia's--as their entire economic structure was obliviated.
