Question about mailing my letter?
-
I sent out a letter for the fist time yesterday. The info I filled out was correct on the front of the letter, and I put a 40-something cent first class stamp on it. It only has to go about 15 miles away. I put the letter folded up in a greeting card sized envelope, which made the envelope very wide. Will this pose a problem with processing and mailing? It's probably close to half an inch thick. Also, when should this letter arrive if the pickup time at the blue box I dropped it off at was 5:00 PM Monday. Thanks

Answer:
If the letter is 1/2 inch thick it may be returned for extra postage ( if you put your return address on the envelope) If it isn't returned, it should be delivered in 2 to 3 business days.
