Compare/contrast china and the united states?

If the United States collapsed, wouldn't China and many other countries collapse as well?

  • So I've been reading up on alarmist theories stating that the United States is on decline. Also in 2016 when China becomes the #1 superpower, they will take over. Many US corporations outsource their labor. With no United States those corporations would fall and from that many Chinese workers would be out of jobs. If their unemployment rate rose than their economy would falter. If the US and China both went bankrupt, than the world would need a huge overhaul. I figure if the top two superpowers fell than so would the rest of them if they hadn't already.

    It would not be good news for anybody I can think of. It certainly would hurt their economies if they export a large percentage of their manufactured goods to America. We are not doing all that well now under the Obama plan. If he gets another term in office the s h i t could hit the fan. His reelection would not have any bearing on his future plans so he would do whatever he could persuade his political followers to accept. The man is only thinking about his future dream which could turn into a nightmare for the normal American.

When the US goes, Europe will go, and if Europe goes the US will go, and then all countries will collapse, it'll be a Global collapse, but some countries are more resilant than others and will make a quicker recovery, fr'instance China has a strong industrial base, which America doesn't, China can tap into it's own consumerism, it has strong relationships with many other countries and have been slowly decreasing their US dollar reserves to minimize any adverse effect, so they can take flight away from Euro's or US dollars..
