Did the Romans treat the Jews as harshly as Israel treats the Palestinians?

Israelis always like to play victim and pretend that no one has ever suffered except them. They also use terms such as " Anti semite" to refer to anyone who criticizes Israel eventhough Palestinians are also Semites The truth is that Israel today is acting like the Nazis the killing techniques may be different but their goal is one. As far as I'm concerned the Nazis did not drive around with a caterpillar bulldozer running down Jewish homes.

Jews were treated worse than the palestinians are treated today. The two shouldn't even be compared.

Actually, if the palestinians in gaza, had not increased attacks against Israel 780% after Israel did exactly what the palestinians wanted for 40 years. IE: withdraw all settlers and the IDF from Gaza. Israel would not have done anything inside Gaza But when there are over 5,000 attacks by mortars and rockets from Gaza in a year Just what do you expect Israel to do, just accept the attacks ? The palestinians are lucky Israel just didn't level gaza and make it a parking lot.

Romans were not racial and there was no media to cover their crimes at that time. Romans were superpower in the Roman era, so they didn't need to make fake history about themselves or they don't need ethnic cleansing against victims like what happened to Palestinians. The massacres against Palestinians are the worst in the modern history of the world.

Look at history and the holy wars between muslims and christians to start with as during holy wars in the middle east and musilm rule .The jews left there holy land to find safer places to live .Some went to spain and settled but lived happy for a hundred years until the locals and other used them to learn from then turned apon them killing them becuase they had no more use for the jews and this happen in rome as well.The jews have been set apon and murdered for 2000 years and no one knows how jews are here today.But jews made the choice to leave palestine and the land which was israel but jews should not live in fer with palestinian people as the war is becuase the english re-settled the jews in world war 2 and papers where signed but contracts between the jews and palestinian people have been broken.Your answer is no.David Harris

Israelite and jewish culture aren't they the same? as well as palestinian. the jewish israelies are living on "palestianian land" presumes the muslims and romans im not sure

It would only make me think of Masada if all the arabs in Gaza committed suicide. That will be the only similarity. Surely you aren't wishing for something like that.

I don't know about the Romans, but the Germans under Hitler sure did.
