Did I say the wrong thing?

Do you thinkg that today's CEOs know that some of the thing that they do and say are wrong -and given the?

  • ability to make a personal choice, they would "do the right thing" - but they are under so much pressure (from society, stakeholders, Boards) to do what is expected (right or wrong) that they don't follow their personal hearts and consciences?

  • Answer:

I think that they are men, surrounded by billions of dollars, with not very specific laws governing them and they get competitive with other companies. They can work hard and maybe make 15% on an investment, or create bad investments, sell them to average Americans investing as good investments, then short sell it themselves, and make a ton of profit. <- something that can legally be done, and was done by Goldman Sachs, they just crossed the line when they brought the bad investment people in on the scam. You want to know why more celebrities cheat on their spouses than average people, many more opportunities, you want to know why more CEO's try to cheat money than other people, more opportunities and more money.
