I'm stuck, I want to find something I can add that will have the viewers of the website stick around a bit longer or to create some traffic for it by people referring it because it's great. any suggestions? I want to add more content or something?

Suggestions? Yes. Drop the click-thru revenue links (which, by the way Commission Junction show as dead links). Just point people straight to the best resources, no affiliate links, and worry more about good travel content, and less about making money. Good luck with it.
