I dont think goa is the right place for xmas, i think you will enjoy goa in the rains or just before the lent season that is during february which is the carnival time there, rather than xmas. You will only enjoy xmas in goa if you have relatives or know locals out there. Else xmas in goa would be like any other regular holiday to goa. Please do not visit goa between april and may, cause of the hot weather.

Sri Lanka, I loved it and I took my 12 year old and 4 year old with me and had no complaints from them. Beautiful country, beautiful people and loads to see and do. Just avoid the north east cos it might be a bit dangerous.

my advice is to go to thailand or malaysia . as they are the perfect palce from 1 year to 80 yr old.

Going to Thailand for X'mas is a good idea. There will be chrismas decorations such as big Christmas trees, light ups on department stores and office buildings in the city. Also, i'd like to recommend you to visit southern part of Thailand. The beaches are great. You can enjoy spas and massage for reasonable price.
