If someone sent me a letter but put the wrong zip code, how long could it take to arrive?
-
My friend sent me a letter from England to me in Columbia, MO, but I accidentally gave him the zip code for my home in Eureka, MO (Right next to St. Louis, about 110 miles away). Everything else on the letter was correct, including city and state. It was sent about three weeks ago. What are the chances that it arrives at all, and if it does, how long could it take? Thanks.

Answer:
It is impossible to give an accurate answer to this. if the postal employee who handles it happens to notice and is in a good mood, he may correct it and send it on, or it may get throw out by the processing machine and returned to the sender. Absolutely no way of knowing.
