Will the post offices in the UK give a very good exchange rate on cashing travel cheques as opposed to banks?
-
I have heard that the post office will not charge any fees to cash my dollar travelers cheques over there, but I am now wondering how their exchange rate will compare to the banks, such as Lloyds Bank? Anyone know? Thanks for your answers!

Answer:
In my experience the post office has usually been about the same as the banks. Can't guarentee this one though. PO is currently giving 2.20 US dolars to the pounds on trav chq, hope that helps a little.
