Which country is the best place too live, and work?

  • With the current worldwide economy slump. Which country would you say is the best too live in? In terms of finding work, bearing in mind i'm not skilled in any particular field? Living costs? Quality of life? People, and the local culture? Get most for your money? I know it's certainly not the UK!

    Without any particular skills, you're not going to be able to get a visa to live and work in many countries. That leaves the EU where you have the right to live and work without a visa assuming you're a citizen of the UK. However, you need to consider your language skills too. As you note, the economic situation isn't particularly good anywhere right now. Here in northern Italy where I live there was a recent article in the newspaper saying that the unemployment rate had more than doubled in the past year. Just about anyplace you can find a job that will allow you to support yourself could be good. What education and experience have you had?

Canada. Hands down. The unemployment rate is nearly two percent lower than that of the United-States. The people are friendly, the crime rate is low and the quality of life is high.

not UK no.. umm south africa? i dunno really..maybe australia..perhaps malaysia? nah..i dunno really..to live south africa..to work...no idea..not working YET, so wudnt hv a clue where.. hong kong is pretty good..financially and livng wise..i grew up there...

Anywhere you can find a good job I know that the unemployment rate is very very very low in North Dakota! They are looking for all types of workers!
