How old do i have to be to stay in a hotel in spain?

  • hi im 16 and i want to stay in a hotel in spain with a couple of friends...how old do you have to be to stay in a hotel in spain? thanks

  • Answer:

You can be that old, but you need to have parental consent on a letter or any other written type document. You pretty much need that to stay in any other country alone and be under 18. That is, unless you'll be staying with someone of legal age. If that's the factor, then the answer is no.

Just show your passport, pay the bill and no problemo. I did same when I was 13 years old. Drank alcohol too.

You shouldn't have a problem because the laws aren't as strict although there might be issues with the hotel if it is a big company hotel. And the Barcelona Rennicanse Mariot is really nice.
