There are some considerations to think about(I am Owner of a Travel Agency): 1- How long will your honeymoon be? 2- Do you have a specific departure/return date in mind? 3- You stated that you wanted the "best" place to go on a honeymoon. Keep in mind that there are many definitions as to what a "best place" can be. Having said that, probably the question asked here is what are you looking for in a honeymoon? Activities? Sightseeing? Relaxation only? Do you have a geographical preference? 4- Do both of you have valid Travel documents? (Visa/Passport is mandatory for all International Travel) Minor considerations certainly yet important in that it will simplify the process of locating a location that both of you will be happy with. Also understand that when people recommend a location, it is usually based on their preferences, tastes and experiences wherever they may have went to. Because of your proposed amount that you want to spend, I would highly suggest a package deal for both of you. Vacation package deals give you more bang for your buck (Air/Accomodations/transfers/taxes included) and are as enjoyable as other Travel options. Depending on your departure/return date and length of honeymoon, I can assure you with confidence that there are many, many "package deals" currently available. LAS VEGAS!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I flew in, got married and then spent a week there. The whole trip was under $2000. Stay at Circus Circus. And eat at the cafes rather than buffets. Go see two or three shows. It'll be fun! And since you're on the strip, you won't need a rental car. It costs only $5.00 for an unlimited all day bus ticket! Love and Light, S.
