High school travel groups?

13 and want travel the world?

  • I'm 13 and I really want to travel the world. I was wondering if there were major groups that take kids around the world to travel, I have heard of one group and I'm suppose to be getting info but I haven't an I feel like I should be exposed to the rest of the world and do something exciting over summer! Please help me! It can be a camp or a cruise or a school type thing for all year, anything where I get to travel!

If you get good grades, your parents give their consent and they are willing to PAY FOR IT; you might want to check out the AFS Foreign Exchange Program. As a Foreign Exchange Student, you will spend a year (or semester or summer depending on the program) going to school in a foreign country and living with a host family. And who is supposed to pay for all this? Does your parents know about your travel plans? What you're describing, not for a 13 yo. You may want to consider something else!
