What is the best place to go on a vacation in the 48 contiguous states? It needs to be near a passenger airport and I have to be able to get around without my own car. I like amusement parks like Disneywold and magic shows like at Las Vegas. I want there to be enough stuff to do so I can spend a couple of weeks having fun.

Answer:
san francisco, salt lake city, las vegas during the summertime, spring & fall. They are the most beautiful...panaramic views & attractions wise. easy enough to get around in. texas has good public transportation (dallas or houston). during wintertime... the carolinas & the virginias are comfortable.this is only my personal experience.
