Holiday destinations for the end of September.

Ideas for holiday destinations please?

  • Me and my husband want to go on holiday in september but are not sure where to go. We were looking at Mexico but were told it's hurricane season then. We will be flying from UK and don't mind long haul flights. We want 4 or 5 star holiday that isn't over run with children. Any good reviews from somewhere you have been or know?

    Well again it depends on what you like but it is a great time of year to see the migration in Africa. Why not go on a safari with a weeks stay in Mombasa. You find find many children at all on safari and many are 5star. The Kenyan Royal Safari with Somak is 5 star and a beautiful itinerary with fantastic accommodation throughout combine this with a week stay in somewhere like Hemmingways ( one of the leading hotels in the world ) in Mombasa and you have a great unforgettable holiday. I would also highly recommend a hot air balloon trip over the Masai with Champagne breakfast. The visa cost for Kenya is also being reduced to $25 US from April.

i reccommend mombasa, kenya. we stayed in a 4 star resort all inc and it was called travellers tiwi. it is absolutely beautiful and you get two excursions thrown in by the hotel owners to a tsavo and an elephant sanctuary (both overnight). we book thru somak on teletext and got a fantastic deal....something like 499 each for two weeks all inc.

Try the Algarve in Portugal. We went one september and it was great, no kids, no crowds, reasonable cost. Water is not as warm as Mexico. If you want a Caribbean holiday try Belize (check out Jaguar Lodge) or Bacos del Toros in Panama.

If you can leave it till a little bit later in the year go to the Maldives, you will love it.

Well why dont go tour africa or america or someting? What about thwe Carrabein? the beaches are amazeing there and its sunny, great enviroment.
