Is "released from customs" the last step in shipping?

Possible scam???ems shipping helpp mee pleeaase!!;(?

  • So I ordered some purses from china I sent the money 7-9-11 it says it was sent via ems 7-11-11 and when I track it it says 2011-07-14  16:41:00 HUANGDAO  Posting 21:52:10 QINGDAO  Arrival at Sorting Center 22:25:45 QINGDAO  Despatch from Sorting Center 2011-07-16   04:43:00 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA USSFOA  Arrival at Sorting Center USSFOA  Arrival at Sorting Center USSFOA 04:44:00 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA USSFOA  Handed over to Customs USSFOA  Handed over to Customs USSFOA 2011-07-21  12:45:00 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA USSFOA  Released from C USSFOA  Released from C USSFOA Ooh and the map says its in mobile, I believe thats in Alabama and im from Texas Ive been contacting the seller through email and have had some disagreemments because on the page it says 5-7days fast shipping? Anyways he/she idk just sent me a message saying thanks you have recieved your goods right? We were told you signed. Now im like wtf???!!! I havent recieved anything whats happening am I being scammed or what should I got to my post office?? ;( im really pissed since with this money I was going to resell it and buy my baby clothes:'( should I even expect this package has this ever happend to you?!

    This could be a scam or a mess up with the postal service. Either way you likely wont see the package. dont buy things from international vendors, thats a no no.

I am in the UK but the principle remains the same. I have ordered lots of things from China/Hong Kong through eBay. Never had a problem other than of course lengthy delivery. Rule of thumb is from HK for small item about 11 days, larger/heavier items about 25 days. China is usally a few days longer. You appear to have legitimate tracking info but probably did not realise the many times an item is handled. I think you just need to be patient!
