waiting at the paris CDG airport. no access

Answer:
If you have through booked ticket and get 2nd flight boarding pass at first departure your luggage will be through booked to Boston. You will not see it / have to handle it at CDG. You do not need visa as you are in transit and can walk from arrival gate to departure gate along the marked transit route. Technically you do not "enter France" at CDG as you are in transit. Sometimes for technical reasons you don't get your 2nd boarding pass at 1st departure but along the transit route you go to the Transit help desk and they will issue it for you there.
