I'm going on holiday in october where abouts is the best place to go?

    I spent ten days of October / November in Dubrovnik last year, for £350 (including flights) in a small hotel and booked at a high street travel agent. It was fabulous, with sunshine and temperatures in the twenties for the whole time we were there. As we left to come home, on the 2nd November, the two and a half hour flight moved us from 22 Celsius in Croatia to 2 degrees at Gatwick. The Croatian people are lovely and very tourist friendly, the coastal areas are also very picturesque. However, if you want young scene night life, in October, you would need to go to one of the larger cities such as Split.

Yes we are planning to go on holiday in october too. If your looking for a cheapy holiday then i suggest lanzrote or ibiza. But if your looking for something you dont mind splashing the cash then i suggest astraila its ment to really nice and it is really hot. If you go for this suggestion i also suggest you go for more then a week. you may find it cheaper if you go for 4 weeks Hope this helped.

The only good places with good weather would be in the southern hemisphere. You may have to dip into your wallet though. Try to find a travel site like travelocity to gat a cheaper stay at the Bahamas or any southern american countries.

The weather in Italy is usually pretty good in October and there are interesting things to do like the Eurochocolate festival in Perugia. Spain or Portugal may be less expensive.
