What is Ireland like to visit on vacation?

  • What is Ireland like? Is it really green like people say? Im thinking of going on vacation there but I know nothing about the country. What is the culture like, what are the roads like if i rent a car? I have a few ideas for our vacation next year and im leaning toward Ireland but I don't know. Is Dublin a nice city to visit, where is good to visit outside of Dublin? I have heard the irish countryside is quite beautiful but is this true or just spin? What are irish people like and how do they treat tourists? Is there nice scenery for photographs? We are really considering Ireland for our next vacation but just dont know. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Please, no Irish answer this question as your opinion would be biased.

    ireland is a great place to visit. I wad there earlier this year. rugged countryside, lakes and coast. steeped in history with a mix of historic and new buildings plus great shopping and nightlife. take plenty of money though.
