What is the best cruise to the Baltic capitals?

Caribbean Cruise or Europe Choice?

  • I have a problem. I have to make a choice on where to go during the summer. I know it's a while away, but we have to book tickets now otherwise it'll be full. One choice is going on a Caribbean cruise (Royal Caribbean cruise line) for 1 week with my family + one other family. That other family has 3 kids that I'm really close friends with. The other choice is going to Europe (France, Switzerland, maybe Spain) with just my family for 10 days. The last time I went on a cruise, I only went with my family. I got extremely bored because there was no other kid I knew besides my sister who sat in our room on the cruise all day doing homework (BLAHHH!!!). I want to go on another cruise with more kids this time so I don't get bored. That's why I want to go with that other family that has 3 kids. I asked that family's kids today if they were up for a cruise together and they got all excited and happy. But I also want to go to Europe. I've never been there, and I really wanna go to Paris. It'll just be with my family, though. So on the cruise, I'll be with friends AND my family. But it will only be for 7 days. I'll also visit more friends when the cruise stops in Caribbean islands because I have a lot of friends there. However, I'll only be able to shop on the islands a little and not at all on the ship (sadly). In Europe, I'll just be with my family. But it will be for 10 days, and I'll see cool places and go shopping (not a lot, but enough). Which one should I choose: Caribbean cruise or Europe?

  • Answer:

Dear Nina: Focus on *Europe! The Caribbean plays 3rd fiddle, in my book. Don't be too concerned with family/friends. Enjoy Paris & see some Great ART & Culture! This will Vastly Enrich your life. Good Luck~ Have FUN!

If its a summer trip then Europe. You don't want to be in the Caribbean in July or Aug as the humidity is un real.

Europe. go to Europe it's the place to see.

So, why is it you get to make the decision and not your parents? You sounds like a spoiled little $h1t that does not deserve either trip

caribbean cruise! i have always wanted to do one, and the weather will be great and you will have sooo much fun with your friends. in my opinion europe is boring, the weather is still fairly bad in summer and 10days won't be enough to make the site seeing worth while carribean!

10 days isn't a lot for europe! you'll need at least a month to see those 3 countries. You won't see too much in 10 days. In this case, the cruise will be better.

If I were you I would choose Europe and would go to Bodrum. It has lovely, long and clean beaches, sun, clear sea, surf and other water sports, scenic beauties, great night life, scuba diving, horse riding facilities, a lot of historical places, cheap bazaars for shopping, fascinating traditional bath, traditional food, traditional music, traditional dance etc and it’s cheaper than other European countries. Moreover you may have a fascinating cruise, which is called blue voyage, and you won’t have to pay for hotels since you will sleep in your cabin in the boat at nights or you may have just a daily but lovely boat trip. I suggest you especially Gumbet in Bodrum, where a lot of European people mainly British buy their own properties from there after having holidays for a few years.
