Wha do i need to travel alone?

Would i need a consent letter from my parents to travel abroad alone?

  • so in a few weeks i'll be going to iran alone. I leave from EWR (newark airport) and i go to FRA (frankfurt airport in germany) then i have a connecting flight to IKA (iran airport). I'm 15. Someone told me my parents need to write a consent form and get it notarized in order for me to be able to travel alone. Is this true?

    As you will need to leave the US on your US passport (not the Iranian one) you will be asked to show permission from your parents to allow you to travel. So I suggest your parents contact the airline concerned to find out exactly what they require. You may also need to notify the airline that you have two passports.

I would have thought essential due to your age! Do you need an entry visa to Iran? USA and IRAN aren't the best of friends so an underage USA citizen could have problems! Suggest you contact the Iranian Embassy ASAP!
