I live in US, I could get Birth Certif from Indian Consulate, but need it with apostille, how to get that?
-
I live in US, was born in India, am a GC holder, and I need an apostilled birth certificate to present in a Consulate for visa purposes. I know that by sending my passport to the Consulate of India in US, I could get a birth certificate, but could that Birth Certificate be apostilled in US also? If so, who will apostille it? It is difficult for me to get it from India, so I am looking for other options. Any answers are much appreciated. Thank you.
