Need ideas for a great vacation spot!?

  • My boyfriend and I are going on our first vacation together in January. This will be my first vacation ever, he's been on several. I'm so excited and I want to do everything! I've been searching like crazy online, so I thought I'd try asking on Yahoo Answers. These are some of the things we want on the vacation: * Beaches and snorkling (somewhere warm in January) * Zip-lining!! * All-inclusive resort * Rain Forest to hike through * More relaxing, not so much of a party town (although we'd like to be kind of close to party spots, so we can go if we feel like it) * Waterfalls we can swim by or under * Horseback riding, parasailing, swim with dolphins, jet skiing * Somewhat affordable If you know of any spots that have all or most of these, please help. I know we're trying to get everything on the vacation, but why not, right?

    You can do all of these things in Thailand, but you may have trouble finding horseback riding. Elephant riding is much more common. Everything is SOOOOO Cheap. I just got back, and every day was amazing; Beaches, Jungles, Wildlife, and a little partying if you decide you want to. I paid about $28 per day for pretty decent hotels. A great 1hr massage at a nice spa was about $8. Bears are about $3 each at the bars. Snorkelling and diving is some of the best in the world.

The Whitsundays, Queensland Australia. I grew up and live here and everyday is just paradise, just go look at the pictures on the websites I have listed below! In Airlie Beach the town I grew up in you can do everything, and I mean EVERYTHING you have listed above and so much more like visiting the great barrier reef and sailing trips. Airlie Beach is a wicked party town too, but you also have a mirad of resorts that you can escape to and chill out at as well. Highly reccomend it :)

You can do all those things in Cancun. At 11 pesos to the US dollar, it's a no brainer. Also the Mexicans are fabulous. They always make sure everything is right, and they are very warm people. They will never try to scam you. (except maybe a taxi driver) Check out the "Aventura Mexicana in Playa Del Carmen. Never have I checked into a room so cheap and clean. Good linens, very helpful staff. This $59 a night place, would be like $400 in NY.

Right. :) Try Australia. They have fantastic beaches and very hot weather in January. Gold Coast would be the best place to go I guess. But you'd have to go round the place to do all the stuff you want to do. :)

Costa Rice has all of the above!! Get a tour guide online and they'll hook you up with the best vaca with all the things you want to do. That's what my fam and I are doing for spring break.
