How many countries,throughout the world, have mangoes?

• i know this is a weird question. but i'm serious. you see,my wife and i have decided to research this. we have been unable to find conclusive answers from simply googling it. so we have come to this site. my wife's filipina,and i'm puerto rican.both of the countries that represent our ethnicities,cultivate and produce tasty mangoes.but,the other day,i was at work and saw a coworker eating a mango. she had more than 1 and i asked if i could have one. she said yes. a few moments later, a second coworker saw us eating the fruits in our break room,and asked" are the 2 of ya eating mangoes?" we nodded yes. the lady who gave me one was mexican.and the mango was also from mexico. it was very tasty. but then the 2nd person who asked if we were eating mangoes,asked us if they were from the philippines.we told her no,they're from mexico. she ,being a filipina,then told us," well mexican mangoes suck!...filipino mangoes are the world's best!" we just looked at her like she was an infant who just pooped for all by herself for the first time, and wanted us to see it.obviously we ignored this remark. later that day,when i went home,i told the story to my wife and said "it's quite common among filipinos to proclaim that mangoes from THEIR country are the world's best..."i found this fascinating and asked her,"Why?" she told me it's because the philippines is where they're from,so naturally thy want people to think mangoes from that part of the world are the best.but i'm sure this isn't limited only to filipino people. i'm sure many others do it as well.but in all actuality,it would be quite stupid to say any mango from whatever country is the best,simply because there's no conceivable way one would be able to know that.i mean there are sooooo many countries that have mangoes. you'd have to eat every mango from every region from every town from every country that has mangoes.a feat,that would prove beyond the realm of possibility! so, how many countries actually have mangoes? i know it's gotta be a lot.
