Where should a college student travel for winter break?

Im a college student, do you think a travel agency would agree to a payment plan?

  • Every year my college organizes a spring break to London through a local travel agency, the money is due next week and Im just a bit short of being able to pay it in full. What are the chances, do you think, of the travel agency being willing to set up a payment plan?

  • Answer:

I agree with the other answers, but offer a suggestion. If you pay for your fare using a credit card, you can have 30 days before the bill comes in to either pay the credit card in full, or start paying the minimum amount due. Interest on any outstanding balance will occur, but that will be your cost to go on this trip since you are without the needed cash at this time.

Other answers

No. They are not in the business to lend money, they are in the business of planning trips.

Doubt it. Banks are usually the places that make finance loans. The interest rates are high though. I doubt a travel agent wants the risk of debt collection.

I doubt if you don't have a credit card they will let you have a payment plan. Sounds like you are SOL.
